Description of Position

We are currently seeking a Program Director to lead our PACT-Y team in providing intensive community-based services to youth, young adults and their families. PACT-Y (Program for Assertive Community Treatment for Youth) is an evidence-based, trauma-informed multi-disciplinary team approach that delivers strength based, youth guided and family driven services and skilled therapeutic interventions in the home and community to support youth with serious mental health challenges. As the Program Director, you will provide supervision and oversight to staff and work as part of the leadership team that consists of the Program Director, psychiatric prescriber, RN and Program Manager.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Provide clinical leadership and support to the team
  • Direct the day-to-day clinical operations of the team.
  • Provides direct weekly supervision of assigned team members.
  • Accept & coordinate all referrals in collaboration with DMH
  • Lead daily team meetings & treatment planning meetings.
  • Ensure that clients are receiving in person services in accordance with contract specifications.
  • Monitor compliance with documentation guidelines and program specifications
  • Provide safety planning and crisis intervention
  • Follow established agency risk management protocols
  • Complete required documentation in the electronic health record
  • Coordinate care with the family, team, providers and DMH
  • Provide on-call and weekend support on a rotating basis
  • Maintain a small caseload, as needed

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy or a related field
  • License required (LMHC, LICSW, LMFT)
  • 5 years of experience working with children, youth and families with mental health challenges
  • 3 years of management/leadership and supervisory experience
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Good organizational skills, in addition to effective verbal, written and computer skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience providing trauma-informed interventions
  • Understanding of family systems and family therapy
  • Familiarity with electronic health record
