Sometimes a person needs help managing a short-term difficulty. Our Adult Outpatient Services provide therapeutic care on an individualized basis to those who are experiencing emotional distress or a temporary disruption in their capacity to successfully perform in one or more of life's roles. Often those seeking care are dealing with difficulties that manifest themselves or are associated with a particular life stage.

Problems frequently encountered include anxiety and depression disorders, marital and family conflict, eating disorders and problems associated with previous trauma. People who come from a family with a history of sexual abuse or substance abuse may experience problems that relate to events from their past.

  • Individual, group, couples, and family therapy
  • Integrated mental health and addictions treatment
  • Short term, focused treatment
  • Psychiatric evaluation
  • Medication management

Although the length of treatment is the result of several factors, our program emphasizes a short-term approach.

Our highly skilled staff consists of experienced psychiatrists, psychologists and social workers, all with Masters or Doctoral degrees.

Treatment is covered under most health insurance plans such as Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and Blue Cross. The program maintains contracts with a number of health maintenance organizations and employee assistance plans.

For those whose primary language is not English, we have Portuguese and Spanish speaking staff available.
