CCBC's primary goal is to create a continuum of care that allows our clients to receive the level of care that best meets their needs. Over nearly four decades, CCBC has established a tradition of responding to the treatment and rehabilitation needs of adults, children and families across a broad range of mental health and substance abuse needs. CCBC is proud of its continuing commitment to develop innovative, comprehensive and flexible services in partnership with individuals and families and the support of other organizations that support our work including: Mass. State Department of Mental Health, Medical Assistance and Public Health, Morton Hospital and Medical Center, Morton Physicians Associates, local schools, training agencies and many other health care and social service providers. CCBC's commitment to consumer recovery services is based on our strength-based philosophy that peers who are in recovery from psychiatric illness or addiction are well equipped, with appropriate support and resources, to assist others through utilizing their lived experience as an example that conveys a message of hope, encouragement, guidance and strength. CCBC has a rich history of utilizing such support.

Recently the Mass. Department of Mental Health awarded CCBC the funding for another recovery-oriented program; the Southeastern Massachusetts Recovery Learning Community (SERLC). The SERLC was created for individuals who have lived experience in mental health and/or addictions recovery.

Another recent achievement was the selection of CCBC to serve as the Community Service Agency (CSA) for greater Attleboro/Taunton. As part of MassHealth's Children's Behavioral Health Initiative (CBHI), this contract was awarded to one agency in each region of Massachusetts to serve as a CSA designee. In this new role CCBC will continue to fulfill its mission to develop a system of community-based care for children with the capacity to respond to the behavioral health needs of all children in our community.
