Description of Position

Community Counseling of Bristol County is seeking a full-time Program Director for Program of Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) in the Taunton service area. The Program Director operates PACT, a self-contained clinical team which is responsible for directly providing treatment, rehabilitation, and support services to identified clients with severe and persistent mental illnesses. The Program Director supervises and evaluates the multidisciplinary team in conjunction with appropriate psychiatric support to ensure service excellence and courteous, helpful, and respectful services to program clients.

Requirements

A Masters degree in social work, psychiatric rehabilitation or counseling with license or eligible is required along with 5 years behavioral healthcare experience. A combination of exceptional clinical and organizational skills is a must. Supervisory and program management experience is desired, particularly experience in a community based program. The ideal candidate will have a clear understanding of the characteristics and problems of adults with severe and persistent mental illness, and be knowledgeable about the PACT model.
