Description of Position

Full time bachelor's level position providing a range of housing and general rehab services to adults with mental illness. Program of Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) is a comprehensive, community-based psychiatric program providing a range of treatment, rehabilitation, and support services to adults with mental illness, some with co-occurring addictions, in the Taunton area.

Provide housing assessment, treatment planning and ongoing support in addition to general program responsibilities. This position is an integral member of the multidisciplinary team, which also includes a psychiatrist, nurses, licensed mental health counselors, addiction specialist, peer specialist, and a vocational specialist.

Requirements

The person we are looking for is someone with a high level of self motivation, good personal boundaries and a firm belief in the principles of hope and recovery from mental illness. PACT positions are outreach positions and applicants are required to work with clients in their homes and in community settings. Applicants must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. One evening shift per week and every fifth weekend required. A bachelor's degree in psychology, social work or related field is required.
