Description of Position
Community Counseling of Bristol County is accepting resumes for Family Partner positions, part of the Community Service Agency. In order to be considered for this position you must have past and/or present experiences of being a parent or custodial caregiver of a child with emotional and/or behavioral needs. In addition, two years of work or volunteer experience with children is required. We are seeking candidates for a 35 or 40 hour work week. Family Partners provide support to parents of children with diverse needs due to serious emotional disturbances. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Requirements
Candidates must possess strong knowledge of community resources, advocacy skills, and have experience being a parent/caregiver of a child that has received or is receiving services due to emotional disturbances or special needs. Family Partner positions are outreach positions and applicants are required to work with youth/families in their homes and in community settings. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, proper vehicle insurance and pass a full background check. Position also requires a minimum of a high school diploma (secondary education encouraged to apply), and two years working or volunteering with youth or children. Some availability during evening or weekend hours is required. I.A. EOE.
