Senior Family Partner
Community Counseling of Bristol County is accepting resumes for a Senior Family Partner position. Senior Family Partners provide peer support to parents of children with diverse needs due to serious mental health and/or educational needs. In addition, the Senior Family Partner will provide coaching and supervision to Family Partners. Candidates should be familiar with Wraparound process and the Family Partner role.Minimum staff qualifications for a senior family partner include:
- Experience as a caregiver of a youth with special needs and preferably a youth with mental health needs
- Bachelors degree in a human services field from an accredited university and one (1) year of experience working with the target population; or
- Associates degree in a human service field from an accredited school and one (1) year of experience working with children/adolescents/transition age youth; or high school diploma or GED and a minimum of two (2) years of experience working with children/adolescents/transition age youth; and
- Must have a minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience
- Must have experience working collaboratively with state agencies, consumer advocacy groups, and/or behavioral health outpatient facilities
- Must have a valid drivers license and automobile
