CBFS Program Director

Seeking Full-time program director for new mental health service type, Community Based Flexible Support, a Department of Mental Health funded service. Must have masters degree in human services such as Social Work, Rehabilitation Counseling, Clinical/Counseling Psychology. Must be licensed or license eligible. Responsible for the overall operation of this program which provides rehabilitation, support, supervision, housing, and recovery services to mentally ill adults in community settings. Duties include:
  • Provide administrative and clinical supervision regarding admission, assessment and service delivery of program clients in both communal and independent living settings
  • Hiring and termination of staff
  • Supervision of 5-8 staff
  • Staff orientation
  • Oversee implementation of staff training plan
  • Program development activities
  • Oversee compliance with DMH licensure, standards, and Rehab Option
  • Serve as liaison between program and community resources
  • Assist in all contract compliance activities
  • Conduct staff and program evaluations
  • Direct service to program clients as needed, including facilitation of groups and crisis interventions
Preference will be given to candidates with human services related experience, supervisory experience, familiarity with psychiatric rehabilitation, and a progressive recovery orientation. Must possess good organizational skills and effective written, verbal and computer skills.
