CBFS Peer Specialist Coordinator

Seeking full-time Certified Peer Specialist to organize and supervise up to one dozen peer specialists in the CBFS program. Duties include:
  • Provide ongoing individual and group support to program peer specialists
  • Work with program leadership and staff to integrate peer specialist role on the program teams
  • Assist with recruitment of peer specialists
  • Serve as liaison to Recovery Learning Community
  • Participate in other general program responsibilities including rehabilitation, support, supervision and housing services
Requirements include a least one year working in the role of a CPS. Must have lived experience as a person in recovery from mental illness with at least two years of sustained recovery time. Employed experience in mental health field preferred. Should have some combination of the following: Nonprofit organizations; personnel management, policy design and implementation; must possess good organizational skills, effective written, verbal, and computer skills.
